It’s always a good time to cozy up with a good book. There is so much to choose from, making it difficult to decide what to read. That’s why I have chosen a few books for you. These are books that I have read, or are popular and that I found intriguing and intend to read soon.

The first book I’m excited to tell you about is Before I Let Go by Kennedy Ryan. I found this book hard to put down and very engaging. The characters are relatable, and you can almost see someone in real life having that experience. This book deals with marriage, loss, love, grief, restoration, and family. Although this is not Ryan’s latest book, it is my first read by her and needs to be added to your TBR list and you won’t be sorry.

Seven Days In June, by Tia Williams, is a book I am intrigued to read. Although I haven’t read it yet, and it’s not one of her latest books, I see it still mentioned a lot on Booktok and other places. This book is about two writers who get a second chance at love after meeting again years later. It is definitely high on my list along with other titles on her list.

I’m excited to start reading Restore Me: The New Haven Series by J. L Seegars. The good part is that the story doesn’t end right away, as it is a six-book series. This series is set in the fictional town of New Haven, SC, and it is an interconnected stand-alone series. The stories follow the lives and relationships of a tight-knit group of family members and friends.

Rhythm’s Blues, By Kimberly Brown, follows a headstrong character, Rhythm, and her journey navigating a difficult ending to an expired relationship while exploring a potential new one. This book is recommended constantly on Booktok and is praised for its well-written characters and great storyline.

This Could Be Us, also by Kennedy Ryan, is book 2 of her series with the above-mentioned Before I Let Go. This book, is a grown-up romance about self-love and reinvention. Just like book 1 book 2 promises to have relatable characters having real life experiences.

Okay, so these should get us started. I’ve done the research and these are my choices. All we need is one more thing. That is definitely something plush and cozy to wear while we read. Immeasurable Grace

It gives me great pleasure to announce the release of my book, Immeasurable Grace, a Christian fiction book. Although this is my second published book, and it was a labor of love, book publishing comes with its challenges. It is moments like this when authors get on the other side of their projects, and another layer of excitement sets in. I am feeling it today.

A Sunday morning visit to a church, where the pastor had recently resigned because of an indiscretion, inspired Immeasurable Grace. His wife, who was also a pastor, removed herself as well. The pastor asked the regional leader to read a letter telling the congregation that he would not return until he sought prayer and counseling. My book isn’t about this pastor, but as I watched the congregation listen to the letter, I wondered what would happen to the congregation now that their pastor would be unavailable and ineffective for them indefinitely. I thought, “Who will counsel, preach, and teach them? Will they feel like if the pastor can be indiscreet, then so, could they?” Immeasurable Grace journeys with the characters in a real-life way as they figure out events happening in their lives. Although this book wasn’t planned for this time, with all the sorted headlines within the church walls, it seems to be a perfect time to explore an introspective analysis of life and how to get on the other side of afflictions.
