Marilyn Venvenutti was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York.  While working for McGraw-Hill Publishing Company as an editorial assistant, she graduated from the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York earning a degree in Fashion Art and Design.  While Marilyn immersed herself in the creative fashion business, Marilyn moved to Marietta, Georgia. She attended the Art Institute for Interior Design and added interior design to her career, some of which included designing bridal gowns, outfits, and most recently lingerie and accessories.  She also designs and creates window treatments, bedding, upholstery furniture, and space planning for her Georgia and New York clients.  In the Spring of 2024, Marilyn graduated from Clayton State University, in Georgia earning a degree in English with a Writing concentration.  She also won the university’s 2024 CYGNET Award, in Poetry. Marilyn has written one book so far and has several other projects planned in the future.  Her love for fashion, interior design, and writing keeps her curiously creative.
